I'm assuming that only 2 chip keys were programmed but don't know for sure and didn't see anything in Techstream that would indicate how many there were to begin with. I have one remote but the lock button came de-soldered inside and it looks like it has seen better days. Techstream was showing 2 programmed remotes before I erased them and setup the two flip keys. I'm really hoping to be able to program the keys and fob I ordered! If not, any suggestions as to how I can get that 10.30.029 version to work?Ĭould it be the Win10 64bit laptop causing problems?Īny help is appreciated. I could not find a way to move beyond that screen.ĭoes 12.20.024 have that 'Utility' function built in somewhere so I can program keys/fobs? I uninstalled 12.20.024 and re-installed version 10.30.029 but when I try connecting to the truck, it says this version is out of date and needs to be updated. The laptop being used currently has the latest version of Java installed. I have run this with and without Java installed. Techstream seems to operate fine without issue.
The USB/OBDII cable works fine and connects fine to the truck. The problem is, when entering the 'Main Body' menu, I do not have a 'Utility' button on the left hand side. I have successfully installed Techstream on a Win10 64bit laptop and have connected to my vehicle.
