I then blow them to PLCC chips using a parrallel port willem programmer and have been having great fun budget tuning my van bin files based on logging data with vag com on a 3rd gear pull (an copius amounts of chipping threads) and then sending them off to be CHK summed using a chipping website and some very obliging people with full WINols. I have been running with a speedo out for some time now and have been dabbling with my ecu and re-mapping having mounted chip holders in my ecu - modifyiing the low and hi. I am running MSA 15 at present on an 80 pin ecu with the original immo in the passat B5 cluster mounted in the dash Thought I would ressurect an old post rather than start a new one as I have been meaning to get this sorted for a while.
